Stunning River Suites Debut

Sandals New Dining Option is a Shore Thing

Sandals Montego Bay presents "Water Dining”. Guests staying in suites with butler service, can enjoy a lunch of delicious Jamaican delicacies right in the water along Montego Bay’s longest stretch of white sand beach.

SANDALS MONTEGO BAY NEW DINING OPTION IS

SHORE TO PLEASE

~Resort Unveils ‘Water Dining’ Right on the Shoreline~

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica (June 18, 2007) – Sandals Montego Bay has given new meaning to the phrase “wet” your appetite.  Through the flagship resort’s newly-unveiled “Water Dining”, guests staying in top-category suites with butler service, including the resort’s new Bay Roc Estate Beachfront Villa Suites, can enjoy delicious Jamaican delicacies right on Montego Bay’s pristine coastline.

Twice a week, the shoreline, elegantly dressed with sun umbrellas, wrought-iron tables and chairs in up to two feet of water, will accommodate up to 100 Butler Service guests for a two-hour dining extravaganza. Guests can dip their toes in the sparkling Caribbean Sea and sit back as the waves gently rush to the sand around them, all while partaking in a spectacular feast of Caribbean cuisine.

“This idea was born during ‘Reunion Week,’ which is a week-long celebration of Sandals’ returning guests,” said General Manager of Sandals Montego Bay, Horace Peterkin.  “During this week, we always try to come up with new and exciting ways to spend our time together as a group.  Our ‘Water Dining’ service was such a huge hit that we decided to implement it twice a week for guests staying in our top-category suites,” added Peterkin.

Sandals Montego Bay’s “Water Dining” features a lavish buffet with Caribbean and International inspired dishes as well as mouth-watering original creations by the chef, which will change according to season.  The menu will also showcase a wide array of unique Jamaican desserts, sure to tempt any appetite.

“Our top priority was ensuring that our menu items complement the natural splendor of the largest stretch of white sand beach in Montego Bay,” said executive chef of Sandals Montego Bay, Lawrence Clide Lindo.  “Therefore, you’ll see plenty of local seafood and exotic fruit sauces, such as papaya, guava and Juneplum.”

This year marks the arrival of several new and exciting developments for Sandals Montego Bay, the inaugural property of the resort chain.  In addition to the new “Water Dining”, the resort recently unveiled The Bay Roc Estate Beachfront Villa Suites, an enclave of 55 splendidly appointed suites named

after the 1950s Bay Roc Hotel – today the site of Sandals Montego Bay – to deliver a feel for the glamour and glitz of bygone days.  Situated within the captivating environs of the Sandals Montego Bay Estate, along a quiet enclave, directly on Jamaica’s longest private white-sand beach, each of these suites offers an unparalleled sense of privacy and an unrivalled level of refinement. Rich mahogany furnishings, spacious bathrooms, the very finest linens and the exclusive services of your very own, personal, English-trained butler—every plush nuance emanates a lush sophistication reminiscent of only the grandest manor houses and the most regal estates.

Beginning this month, butler service guests at Sandals Montego Bay can enjoy the “Water Dining” experience twice weekly, every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., weather permitting.
